Garden View Apartment
The Garden View Apartment is within the main house, accessed by its own external staircase (sorry – not wheelchair friendly!) It was originally the servants quarters of the house. Today it is a beautifully furnished one bedroom apartment with superb views of the Underhill House garden and fields beyond.
Parking for vehicles is on the main drive of the house, just across from the main house and with convenient access to the 22kw EV charger, which we offer to guests chargeable at market rates.
For outside space, guests have use of the picnic bench in the play area, with a view of the fields,
The bedroom has a Super King bed which can be split to twin beds by prior arrangment, and the apartment sleeps a maximum of two. (We’re sorry but we don’t accept children ten years old or under, or pets, in the Garden View Apartment.)
We offer check in through the week; minimum length of stay and tariff varies according to season and length of stay.
There is a large dining table, a well appointed kitchen with induction hob, and a washing machine. Fresh Linen and towels are offered as standard, along with basic kitchen essentials as tea, coffee, sugar, and a little milk for a refreshing cup of tea on arrival.
Guests staying seven days or more receive a welcome basket.
TV, DVD and high speed broadband come as standard. Books, games, jigsaws and DVDs are available, and, of course, a meeting with the Llamas, Aphrodite and Arrabella, if you wish it!
Rates and Availability
Prices range between £85 and £135 per night depending on length of stay and season. Call us if the calendar isn’t giving you the flexibility you want – we try our best to adapt to customers needs, within reason……..
